Dear Mauricio: Our week-long trip to Peru was quite easily one of the best vacations for my family. We had so much fun and all the arrangements ran smoothly. The guides were very prompt in meeting with us and making sure our trip was comfortable. Not only that, but the guides were extremely informative. We had a great time hiking up Wayna Picchu, which was the highlight of our trip. The only thing we regret is that we should''''''''ve stayed longer and seen Lake Titicaca and more cities in Peru. We had a minor mishap of our Star Peru Lima to Cusco flight being delayed for 2+ hrs. As a result, we missed the cathedral tour in Cusco. However, our guide for the day tour of Cusco the day after was more than glad to cover that for us. My brother also forgot his day pack in the van, but it was easily retrieved as the hotel reception called the driver. There should be a culinary tour in Peru as Peruvian food is wonderful. Overall, a great trip! I definitely recommend using Latin Discover. And thanks to Mauricio for responding to my emails quickly and for being accommodating. Thanks again! Jocelyn

Sandra, It was a very, very good experience! Thanks for everything. The service was excellent. I was impressed by the service, the information I received and the timeliness of pick ups ... (I thought that we Germans are punctual and well organized ... but that ...). The only bad thing, but this has nothing to do with the organization ... ;-), was that altitud affected me in Puno and I felt pretty bad, and once that happened, I had the flu and a bad cold ... well ... but I did the tours to take advantage to the fullest ... Hi Mauricio I am feeling much brighter this morning, having had a good night´s sleep last night! We had such a wonderful holiday. Everything worked like clockwork, and Lima Tours were really efficent, with good knowlegeable guides and someone always there to meet us. All the hotels were great, by the way! Hi Mauricio - We had a great time in Peru,and all the arrangements worked out just about perfectly. We especially enjoyed talking to the guides that were provided. The hotels were great, especially Sol y Luna in the Sacred Valley and Colca Lodge in the Colca Valley, and Reserva Amazonica! Would have liked to have a little time in Chivay to look around the market, but that could have been easily arranged if we''''d known about it in advance - live and learn. The only criticism we had was of the hotel in Puno: way out of town and not much right around it. The service also wasn''''t as good as at the other Jose Antonio hotels. Otherwise it was a wonderful trip with lots of variety and interest, good birds in the Amazon basin and the Colca Valley. Polly Reetz.

Hi Dear Laura, I just can say thank you so much for a perfect trip. Everything worked out perfectly. I´ve had a unique and unforgetable time, each day was special and so great! One positive surprise was that everybody and everything was punctual, I was told that south Americans are unpunctual. Nobody was unpunctual and my worries were in vain. The whole organisation was just brilliant. You will find two photos, one of Machu Picchu and the other one was taken at the lake Titicaca. I have to say that the Salkantay Trek was outstanding. The guide was the best one which I´ve ever had. Not only the guide was very ggod, the horseman and the cook were perfect too! All did an awesome job! Another highlight was definitely Bolivia, the tour which was booked for me was really great as well. The guide and the driver did a perfect job as well. If I had to book the same tour again I wouldn´t change anything (the route, the guides, the hotels, etc.), the only thing which I wouldn´t book is the city tour in Lima. Hi Mauricio We are now back at home sweet home. Just arrived yesterday after a few days in Buenos Aries. Thank you for your assistance and helping to make our trip in Peru so memorable. The scenery was absolutely amazing. We especially enjoyed Lake Titicaca and Macchu Picchu. All of the guides throughout the trip were very helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Also the assistance at the various airports and bus trips were a great help. We couldn''''t fault the accommodation. It was even better than expected and the Peruvian cuisine delicious. We''''ve come home with a few menu ideas and if we can buy Pisco Sour here we''''ll certainly be making a few of those too. My wife and I needed to travel to Peru for the first time to visit friends in an out-of-the-way place. Since we were to be in Peru we decided to first visit some significant cultural sites using a touring service. Being first time visitors and not having any idea what company to choose we were impressed with Latin Discover''s professional looking website and the fact they had a record with the BBB in Florida. We were not disappointed with our choice. We chose an eight day tour and made many changes before the trip to suit our needs. Our personal itinerary on the web was updated very rapidly with each change and we were given options such as either to have Latin Discover book our intra-Peru flights or book them ourselves. Mauricio Guzman, our booking agent with Latin Discover, was always available either via email, phone, or Skype. There was never any communication problem because Mauricio is very fluent in English. All of the Peruvian agents'' English was excellent. All of the transfer agents were on time, even for early flights, helped with our luggage, had entrance tickets for each site, and helped us understand each day''s plan. The hotels were excellent and the included meals beyond expectations, especially the lunch buffets at stops during our tour. The rest rooms at these sites were immaculate. My wife and I can wholeheartedly recommend Latin Discover to anyone planning a first time trip to Central or South America and wanting a trouble free and enjoyable experience. Mauricio: We had a simply marvelous time and couldnt fault any aspect of the trip. Right from the start, the booking process was efficient, prompt and we were kept well informed. The hotels were, without exception, of much higher quality than we expected and indeed, matched any global standard. We remarked several times on the seamless way that a number of different guides interacted with us - we were never left wondering what would happen next. They were happy, well-informed, highly educated people and enthusiastic people and looked after us carefully. Peru has prioritized tourism and it shows. The schedule was a little daunting - trying to see everything that Peru has to offer in only nine days does not allow for much leisure. However, once we had adjusted to the lower oxygen levels in the high Andes (a couple of days of slight headaches and some dizziness) we became accustomed to early starts and enjoyed the wide variety of sights and experiences. Peru has so much to offer - historical, geographical and social - we highly recommend it! Value-wise, the price we paid was a bargain. Kind regards and many thanks for your assistance.
