Inca treks and trails

Conchamarca | Inca treks and trails, Peru

One of the greatest and most famous treks in the world, arriving at Machu Picchu. There are several variants, including shorter express versions for those with less time or condition, alternative routes, and even a lodge to lodge trek, the Machu Picchu Lodges Inca Trail that National Geographic classifies as one of the top adventure trips worldwide.

We have done both the traditional Classic Inca trail and the Machu Picchu Lodges Inca Trail, and are happy to advise you on the pros and cons. Both are absolutely superb, but their attractions are quite different. What is important to realize is that the park authorities only allow up to 500 travelers daily into the reserve and this quota is quickly filled, so it is essential to book well in advance.
